What is the delivery time and shipping cost?

Within the Netherlands, delivery takes an average of 2 to 4 business days, depending on the courier. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight and size of your order. Every order is fully tracked, and you will receive a Track & Trace link as soon as your package is on its way

What does the processing time mean?

Every object is inspected by hand, carefully finished, and ritually packaged in our studio. Because of this dedicated craftsmanship, our processing time is 2 to 5 business days before your package is handed over to the courier. Please keep this processing time in mind when calculating your total expected delivery window

I want to order from outside the Netherlands, what should I consider?

We ship worldwide. For international orders, please account for longer transit times and potential local customs fees or import duties. These charges vary per country and are the responsibility of the recipient

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can securely fulfill your order using iDEAL, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard), and Bancontact.

How does the return process work?

We want you to truly connect with your piece. If a Collection piece does not fully resonate with you, it can be returned within 14 days, unused and in its original packaging.

To start a return, please connect with us at [email protected] to receive the return address. Please note that arranging and paying for the return shipping label is your responsibility. Once received in perfect condition, we will refund your purchase minus the original shipping costs and a small handling fee to cover the manual restocking process

What is the difference between the three worlds?

The distinction lies in who creates the piece and the origin of its energy:

The Clay Spa |  The Experience  A private, guided studio experience in the Netherlands for you and someone close to you. Together, you shape your own intuition vessel as a symbol of your connection. You create the piece yourself, which is fired in our studio, and you return home with physical intuition anchors

Artelier  |  The Artwork  Exclusive, high-end art collections created entirely by founder and artist Mirte Teunissen in the heart of the Netherlands (Het Groene Hart). Every piece is born from her personal connection to intuition, her inner realizations, and her dedicated craftsmanship.

Home Collection | The Daily Rituals Intentional intuition vessels designed by Mirte for daily life, brought to life through her trusted global network of artisans (such as her family’s sewing atelier in Nigeria run by her mother-in-law). Note: Any customization is always handcrafted personally by Mirte in the Netherlands

What makes Intuition Edition unique?

We design holistically, drawing deep inspiration from rituals rooted in ancient cultures by utilizing specific symbols, geometry, and sacred measurements. Every piece is handcrafted using raw, pure materials—such as clay, natural fabrics, earth pigments, and beads—to invite a physical, sensory moment of pause and reflection

What is the difference between a limited series and a customized limited series?

A limited series consists of a fixed, numbered run of original pieces created within a specific collection. A customized limited series takes one of these exclusive pieces and allows for personal adjustments—handcrafted by Mirte herself—to tailor the design or energetic anchors specifically to your personal story.

Where are the products made?

Our pieces are born out of connection and global heritage. All Artelier artworks, The Clay Spa experiences, and custom adaptations are handcrafted locally by Mirte in her studio in the Green Heart of the Netherlands (Het Groene Hart). The base items for our Home Collection are crafted by Mirte or by trusted artisans within Mirte’s network, such as the family textile atelier in Nigeria run by her dear mother-in-law

Where do the materials come from and what makes them unique?

We source raw, honest materials that possess their own character—including pure cream clay, natural fabrics, earth pigments, and unique beads. Every material is chosen for its tactile quality and connection to the earth, allowing you to physically feel the grounding energy of the object.

How do I care for my ritual products?

Our ceramic functional pieces are high-quality stoneware and are completely dishwasher safe. The only exceptions are objects explicitly designed to absorb elements—such as our porous scent stones; these should only be gently rinsed with lukewarm water and air-dried. For our textiles, we recommend washing them very carefully by hand to preserve the natural fibers

I see a small variation in my piece compared to the photo, is this normal?

Yes, and it is a beautiful characteristic of the artisanal process. Because every piece is handcrafted from natural elements, dimensions may vary slightly and no two items are ever a direct copy. You may experience natural textures such as tiny pinholes or unique glaze movements in the ceramics, or slight weaving variations in the fabrics. These organic details are a testament to the life of the material

What is the difference between a Ceramic Experience and a regular workshop?

A regular workshop focuses primarily on teaching technical pottery skills. The Ceramic Experience at The Clay Spa Studio is an intimate, deeply intentional journey held in a beautiful studio space where you are fully cared for. Your hands receive a restorative spa experience, and there is dedicated room to foster deeper connections. Guided personally by Mirte, you co-create a physical intuition vessel that serves as a lasting symbol of your unique bond

What is the difference between a Soulbond Ceramic Experience and a Family Ceramic Experience?

Both experiences incorporate meaningful rituals and connection to a greater energy, with space to customize the session around significant life transitions—such as celebrating a milestone or honoring a loved one.

Soulbond Ceramic Experience (2 hours)  | Designed for two people (e.g., partners, friends, or family members). You will create two separate intuition vessels. You can choose between the pottery wheel (ideal for smaller, delicate work) or hand-building techniques (allowing for larger, organic shapes).

Family Ceramic Experience (1.5 hour) | Designed for a family circle of up to 6 people in our studio. Using hand-building techniques (no pottery wheel), you will co-create a shared water bowl that includes a small integrated pump to let the water flow, serving as a living symbol of your family unit. All ages are welcome, and a high chair can easily be arranged for the smallest family members. For larger family circles, this experience can be hosted at your own location upon request.

A Note on Our Space: Because Mirte is a developmental psychologist, the family session flows in a natural, playful way. Children with special needs are warmly welcome, provided they wish to explore the clay themselves. If there are any specific preferences or needs we should know about, feel free to share them beforehand so Mirte can prepare the studio to ensure everyone feels completely at ease.

For whom are the Experiences suitable, and do I need prior experience?

The Experiences are designed for anyone looking to deepen their connection with themselves and their loved ones. No prior experience with clay or ceramics is needed. Mirte will guide your hands and your process completely, creating a safe, intuitive space where the material naturally responds to your energy

What are the booking and cancellation policies for an Experience?

Because our Experiences are highly exclusive, private studio sessions that require extensive preparation, we apply a strict 7-day cancellation policy. You can cancel or request to reschedule your session up to 7 days before your booked date. If a cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the experience, the amount is non-refundable.
