Each tile is individually hand-brushed in the Artelier, bridging the heavy stillness of clay with the immediate gesture of the brush. The textured surface remains raw to capture both light and essence, while the hand-painted indigo Kanji anchors the space with pure intuitive intent

The Intuition Kanji is born from the stillness of Japanese aesthetics, where a single character holds an entire world of meaning.

Dimensions — Clay body 10×20 cm
Material — Three layers of artisan glaze, hand-brushed by Mirte Teunissen
Palette — Deep indigo, raw linen, and rich dark walnut
Process — High-fired at 1240°C, capturing intuition in molten glass
Hardware — Dark walnut frame, 13 x 23 cm, complete with a mounting hook

Choose how the clay meets your hands through two distinct tactile experiences
Fully Glazed — The smooth glaze wraps the entire cup, flowing all the way to the base
Partial Raw Clay — The glaze crowns only the top portion. The lower half leaves the raw, speckled clay entirely bare, allowing you to feel the grounding texture of the earth
